We are situated next door to HotPod Yoga, on the grounds of the Northumberland Tennis Club, in Jesmond, off Osborne Road, NE2 3JU for your SatNav. From the main car park we are hidden behind the large tennis courts, to the front of the main building, sign posted Hotpod Yoga and Tribal Cycle Studio.

We use an app call Momence, available for both apple and android. Once you have purchased a membership we will email a QR code to set this up.

We ask all new riders to arrive 10/15 minutes early for their first few rides! This gives us time to help set the bike correctly and answer any questions you may have.

Yes, absolutely, it's what we pride ourselves on. We all ride together but at our own intensity. You will be guided and looked after throughout.

Absolutely, along with an improved food intake, spinning can be highly effective in helping with weight loss. We will help you burn calories whilst smiling and enjoying the process, result!

Rarely! We are very good at managing our studio and reactive to any session that get to full capacity. We manage this by adding more sessions as and when and in the past added more bikes to our fleet. But we always advice people to book their sessions well in advance.

Memberships start on the day of purchase and end one month later the day prior. So if you join on the 10th of August your membership will run until the 9th of September and renew on the 10th of September.

Booking slots open 21 days prior to the session happening. If you know you like a specific ride we advise you book your place well in advance.

No, we ask riders bring their own cycling shoes fitted with the metal SPD cleat or very clean indoor trainers.

Yes, all bikes are fitted with the option for clip in cycling shoes (SPDs) or as an alternative, cages to fit a normal training shoe. Whilst riding you should feel your foot is securely fitted to the peddle.

The Stages SC3 bike provide RPM and are also fitted with power meter to display output in watts. Time speed and distance are displayed as well as calories burned.

No, we ask all clients to bring their own training towel to use during classes.

No, this is not possible and the credits you use are for your use only.

Unless otherwise stated, we work on a 3 month minimum term with 30 days notice, via email, to quit.

Primarily instructors will teach to revolutions per minute, displayed as RPM on the display unit. We also utilise MyZone belts, these to display heart rate and intensity during classes. These are available to purchase (£85) at the studio and are a great asset to help keep you motivated and engaged for success.

The main clubhouse has a well catered bar and cafe area open during normal working hours.

A good rule of thumb is t-shirt/vest and shorts. You don't NEED cycling shorts, BUT they can make riding more comfy. Always bring something warm to put on after a ride.

The vast majority of classes are 45 minute rides, unless otherwise stated, normally in the class explanation!

Yes, parking is available and free. At busier time please be considerate and park sensibly. You can also find free parking in the street surrounding the club, but again please park with consideration of others.

No the sessions you purchase via a membership, must be used within that month and cannot be carried over into the next!

Each pack you purchase has its own time limit depending on the number of sessions within the pack. Please use the sessions within the set time frame.

We ask that you give us 30 days notice via email to cancel any membership with us.

Spin classes can be suitable for people with knee problems, but it depends on the severity of the condition and your specific circumstances. Please speak with your health advisor/physiotherapist first, but we are here to help if we can.

We have had football teams, walking groups, charity events and groups of friends for a PRE drinks birthday party ride. You supply the tunes and we will set the ride. Please contact Gary for more information and to discuss.

For yoga we use the main hall of the tennis club. If you go to the club reception they will point you in the right direction. Don't forget your mat!

14 and over are welcome to all sessions as long as they are accompanied by an adult. They must join as member, where the parent and/or guardian completes all necessary forms prior to the "child" joining. Parent/guardian is responsible for the child throughout any session.

Sorry no, we don't have the space or facilities to allow anyone at the studio whilst sessions are in progress.

Changing rooms and showers are available in the main club house of the tennis club. Again, speak with the club reception and they will assist. You must supply your own towel and toiletries.
